Aerostatic Shipyards Inc. is a Canadian aerospace company developing modern lighter-than-air aircraft as part of Canada’s entry into the re-emerging global airship industry.
Our work focuses on quiet operation, long endurance, and low infrastructure requirements, supported by a streamlined onboard energy arrangement designed for efficient, low-emission operation using widely available and practical energy sources. Our roadmap includes unmanned and crewed systems intended for dual-use applications across civil, scientific, and defence-relevant contexts.
Technology
Our aircraft are built around our HTD architecture which is our approach to buoyancy management and onboard energy arrangement.
Our solutions provide whisper quiet hovering flight, and stable long-duration operation. That means practical mission handling with minimal disturbance.

Defence Applications
Militaries have always found great utility is light-than-air platforms. Today Aerostatic Shipyards developing aerostatic technology suited to modern missions.
